(Washington, DC – October 21, 2013)  –  Galileo Analytics Co-Founder and CEO, Simon Fitall, will present next week at the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) annual convention in Atlanta, GA.

Fitall will discuss the promise of visual data exploration platforms in driving innovation in how we analyze and understand the patterns within complex health data.  Drawing on experiences drawn from other industries, Fitall will demonstrate how the use of visual data analytics and exploration can help uncover new patterns and illuminate the genesis of established observations about health and care.

The discussion will feature Galileo Analytics’ Galileo Cosmos™ platform, which enables any user to explore complex data in real-time through an easy-to-use, dynamic, visual interface.

Fitall’s presentation, Visual Data Exploration and the Evolution of Health Information Analysis, is scheduled for Monday, October 28 at 3:45 pm. The presentation is part of the McKesson Innovation track of lectures, which features innovative new solutions in health data management and analytics.
