(Washington, DC – June 1, 2014) – Galileo Analytics Co-Founder Anna McCollister-Slipp will demo Galileo Cosmos™ at the DiabetesMine D-Data Exchange today prior to  74th Scientific Sessions of the the American Diabetes Association in San Francisco.

Sponsored by the leading diabetes blog, DiabetesMine, in conjunction with Tidepool, the event will feature a range of hacker/presenters, clinicians and researchers who are developing digital technologies to help drive innovative treatment strategies for diabetes through health information technology.

McCollister-Slipp will demo Galileo Cosmos™, the Galileo Analytics visual data exploration and analytics platform, which provides a visual, dynamic way to mine and analyze complex electronic health data. The Cosmos demo will feature two large sets of aggregated, de-identified electronic health record data from diabetes patients from the US and the UK.

In addition to the Galileo Cosmos™ demo, the event will feature demos from a range of diabetes hackers and companies developing applications to improve treatment for diabetes. The demos follow a full day of speakers discussing the need for and progress in creating software-based solutions to various challenges with understanding and treating diabetes.
