(Washington, DC – April 27, 2016) –  Galileo Analytics Co-Founder Anna McCollister-Slipp will join FDA Commissioner Robert Califf and informatics leaders from IBM, NIH and the Brookings Institution next week on a featured panel at the 26th Annual Society for Women’s Health Research gala in Washington, DC.

This year’s gala is focused on the potential for digital health tools and electronic health data to revolutionize health care and health research.

In addition to McCollister-Slipp and Califf, the panel discussion will include Kavita Patel, MD, Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution, Jennie Larkin, PhD, Senior Advisor for Extramural Programs and Strategic Planning at the NIH and Jane L. Snowdon, PhD,  Director, Watson Health Partnerships, IBM.

The evening will also include keynote presentations from Alyson McGregor, MD, Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Brown University and David Page, MD, Director of the Whitehead Institute, Professor of Biology at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Investigator at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
